Sendenhorst, 24 May 2018. As the world-wide innovation leaders in metal spinning, WF Maschinenbau develop and manufacture highly-efficient machines for chipless metal forming for national and international customers from a wide variety of industries. In order to keep pace with the growing order book, WF build a new production hall at their company headquarters in the Münsterland Sendenhorst which will contribute to expanding the final assembly by 700 square metres. Laying the foundation stone took place on 24 May 2018 in the presence of the Sendenhorst mayor Berthold Streffing, WF employees and further guests from the worlds of politics and business.
In addition, WF will build two new machines this year in order to further develop their own research and development division, and they will buy additional machine tools and measuring machines for their own production. All in all, approximately two million Euro will be invested in the Sendenhorst location this year. “With the new area we will, on the one hand, improve our internal production flow, and, on the other hand, increase our capacities. In doing so, we respond to the extraordinarily well order position and we pave the way for further growth,” says Dr. Bodo Fink, Managing Director of WF Maschinenbau. Completion and commissioning the new production hall is planned to take place already in early September this year.
