WF Maschinenbau presents a new spinning machine

The latest development from WF Maschinenbau brings outstanding technical innovations with the aim of simplifying programming and minimizing set-up times. The machine scores with its extremely stable design and the tight workpiece tolerances that can be achieved with it. With this new spinning machine, WF Maschinenbau once again presents how an extremely stable, durable machine concept with high forming forces, suitable for large wall thicknesses and high-strength materials, can be implemented. At the same time, high-precision and gentle forming of even soft or thin-walled blanks remains possible, without any loss of surface quality, for example. A characteristic feature of the new machine concept is the optional second support table, which can be moved along the machine axis. It simplifies loading and unloading and enables flexible use, even with just one spinning support. The innovative reelstand design ensures short reel changing times in every support position without the risk of collision with other machine parts. Maximum flexibility is also provided by the newly defined tailstock design with a mounting option not only for a standard print head but also for special units, such as an eccentric roller unit. A fully integrated second tailstock cylinder also sets new standards in terms of tailstock functionality thanks to its dual function. Support positions on the machine bed are automatically detected and transferred by the control system. The working area is calculated fully automatically, so that even programs that were not recorded in exactly the same support position can be reproduced without additional corrections. All machine components can be adapted to different customer requirements, as exemplified by the new trimming unit integrated in the headstock. At the customer's request, this was elegantly integrated into the machine concept with a chip conveyor.
